Michael G. Wright is the managing principal of Wright Hawaii Commercial Real Estate Advisors LLC, a boutique consulting and investment firm providing various real estate development and advisory services throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Mike is a career real estate professional with 30 years of commercial real estate experience in structured finance, investments, acquisitions, development, marketing and sales, and is recognized as an industry leader and deal maker, directly involved in sourcing and closing over $1B US in commercial and residential real estate transactions during his 13 year tenure as Executive Vice President of A&B Properties Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Alexander and Baldwin NYSE: ALEX).  Senior management experience includes careers with two other publicly traded corporations, including GE Capital- Hawaii (NYSE: GE) and City National Bank -Beverly Hills Calif., (NYSE: CYN). Current development projects include the renovation and expansion of Lahaina Cannery Mall, Lahaina, Maui, a 130,000 square foot neighborhood/resort retail center, now home to the state’s largest Safeway grocery store.  Lahaina Cannery is entering Phase II of redevelopment, with Wright Hawaii managing all aspects of planning and development for owners- US Realty Partners Inc. (Los Angeles, CA). Recently completed projects include the Shops At Anahulu, a brand new resort retail complex anchored by a new flagship Rip Curl store, located across from the beach, in Haleiwa, Hawaii. In addition to providing consulting and development services, Michael G. Wright (B), is an experienced commercial real estate broker, representing commercial buyers, sellers and tenants throughout the state of Hawaii. Mr. Wright received a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Hawaii, is a 20 year member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has a record of serving the Honolulu community in various board of director positions for both industry and non-profit organizations.
